          About CNC
China Xinhua News Network Corporation (CNC) is a TV news network run by Xinhua News Agency targeting overseas audiences. It produces programs that are aired on cable, satellite and wireless networks and expands through owned & operated (O&O) stations and broadcast partnerships.

Employing the business mode of franchised dealership, CNC implants its programs into TV channels in different countries and regions, and reaches out across the world by establishing O&O stations and enlarging broadcast partnerships.

On January 1, 2010, CNC officially kicked off its first O&O TV station -- CNC Chinese channel, which is broadcast via APSTAR VI satellite to audiences in parts of Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

        CNC World, a 24-hour English-language channel, was launched on July 1, 2010.

Stationed in over 170 countries and regions, CNC’s correspondents stand ready to offer an alternative perspective and a new vision on global events through live reporting, news analysis and background information.

Up until July 2013, CNC WORLD was already accessible in many parts of Asia-Pacific, North America, Central America, Europe, Middle East, Oceania and Africa through satellite networks, including APSTAR VI, Galaxy 19, Hot Bird, Eurobird 1, W7 and MIH.

CNC WORLD has expanded its reach on cable & wireless digital TV networks in more than 60 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, New Zealand, sub-Saharan Africa, Thailand, Hong Kong and Macao.
